Leadership for Change- Live Lesson in a Global Classroom
Sylvia Earle, commonly known as "Her Deepness," is a woman who has contributed more to marine biology than anyone else. Our school received an invitation to participate in an interactive live conference, where we had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss ocean-related topics. Dr. Earle's pioneering work in marine science and her dedication to her career inspire many young people to pursue hard work and a successful future.
"I will dive as long as I can breathe," said Dr. Sylvia Earle — words that ignite a deep spiritual connection with the ocean. Her obsession with observing marine life laid the foundation for her remarkable career success. As we listened respectfully to Dr. Earle's interview, we were thrilled to have received such an honorable invitation — it felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The interactive elements of the video conference allowed us to actively participate in the event. Seeing our school among many international educational institutions was indescribable. Everyone became emotional when we heard "XV LO Warsaw" pronounced by the lady conducting the interview.
Earle's achievements have paved the way for future underwater explorations. We are incredibly grateful for the chance to listen to someone so fearless, dedicated, and driven. During the interview, she seemed fulfilled and proud. She believes it is her duty to encourage the younger generation to protect such a vital resource as the ocean — and she truly does. Not only that, but she also inspired our students to strive for excellence because everyone deserves success
